Theory Test
- The Driving Theory Test has been carefully devised to assess a candidates general knowledge of road safety and driving regulations;
- The test ensures that learner drives have the knowledge and understanding they need to be able to drive safely.
The part one theory test is the first step to becoming a Driving Instructor. This is a very important part of driving instruction, if you don't know your rules of the road and the law then your pupils won't know it either.
You must be committed every step of the way, in every stage of your training programme to achieve the standard to become an Approved Driving Instructor.
This test covers a lot more than the L theory test.
The part one as it commonly known starts with an application form which starts the process for approval by the DVLNI to ensure that you meet the above criteria along with police checks. After this, if everything is ok, then you can take your theory test.
